CR8:BLK Music Fest 2023

Celebrating Independent Black Women Artist in Music

CR8:BLK (Create Black) is a non-profit organization aimed towards celebrating contemporary Black and African Art created by women of color. This year CR8:BLK is hosting a second Black Women Indie Music Fest! The CR8:BLK Music Fest is a one day event that will take place in Charlotte North Carolina and be streamed on multiple social media platforms showcasing the work of independent Black Women music artists from across the diaspora. There will be live performances, a songwriting workshop, live interviews, special Africa stage, and a battle of the bands competition.

There will be six spots open for live performers, there will be space for one songwriting workshop, and three interview sessions. The battle of the bands competition will be open to five artists and/or bands online to compete for the title of best band and get an opportunity to win prizes.
